National Institute of Social Affairs

National Institute of Social Affairs (NISA) received governmental authorization​​ in​ October 2011 by sub-decree No 233 ANK-BK. NISA has its mission to provide trainings and conduct research in the area of social affairs, responding to the needs of country and society. NISA has its rank deemed equivalent to the general department and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation. The structure of NISA includes:

  1. Faculty of Social Work: Department of Social Work, Department of Social Protection, and Department of Sociology)
  2. Department of English, and Department of Governance and Policy (Bachelor of Public Management, Bachelor of Public Administration, Bachelor of Social Policy, Bachelor of Public Policy)
  3. Faculty of Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering (Departments of Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering, Assistive Device Engineering, and Physical Therapy Science)
  4. Vocational Training School for Persons with Disabilities
  5. Department of Foundation Studies,
  6. Studies and Research Office,
  7. Administration and Personnel Office, and
  8. Accounting and Finance Office.

 

Action in Family Care First (FCF) | REACT

NISA’s Department of Social Work currently working with Family Care First | REACT in committing to increase the percentage of children living in safe, nurturing and family based care through actions with FCF | REACT’s essential cross-sector working groups.
